I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving! I am so excited to officially move on to the holiday season and share all the fun ideas I have been working on with you! First up is this super simple holiday faux gift photo booth backdrop. I partnered with Spoonflower on this project to create my own holiday wrapping paper designs, then had them printed on their rolls of satin gift wrap along with a few of my other favorite designers patterns. The resulting photo booth backdrop reminded me of the ultimate holiday pajama party, so I went with it and got matching jammies for me and my kids. Hello Christmas cards!

This project was seriously so easy to do and the impact is huge! I mean, who wouldn’t want a big wall of wrapped gifts by their tree? And it is such a cute backdrop for Christmas card photos or at your holiday party. Plus you can easily choose from any of the 1000’s of designs that are available on Spoonflower from other independent artists to customize the colors and look just the way you want.

Materials:

All you need to do is wrap flat pieces of cardboard (you can get these by cutting the sides off a cardboard box) with the gift wrap. I didn’t even worry about wrapping the back of the faux gift. Then add various bows, ribbon, and string to the rectangles to give them more of a gift look.
Once you have all your pieces of cardboard wrapped, use glue dots to adhere them to the wall. like a big stack of gifts.
And that’s it! So simple! and really such a fun way to decorate for your holiday party or Christmas card photos.
And to help you in your party decorate your next party, Spoonflower is offering a special 10% discount when you use coupon code KailoChic at checkout! The discount is valid on yard cuts of fabric, and rolls of wallpaper and wrapping paper through December 31st, 2017.
So go get wrapping!
