Make It – Enamel Pin Rings

filed under

Enamel pins are trending like crazy and everyone I see online has a growing collection of them. With so many cute designs coming out from so many talented designers, it was only time before I got in on the pin game. But I am not one for adding too much flair to my wardrobe. What can I say? Walking around with a ton of pins on my jacket just isn’t my style. But, turn those pins into rings and it’s another game entirely. Today I will share how to easily transform your enamel pins into rings so you too can sport the flair on your hands.

First up you will need:
  • Enamel Pins
  • Ring Blanks (you can find these on etsy or in the jewelry section of the craft store)
  • Industrial strength adhesive like E6000 or Power Tac
  • Pliers
  • Dremel with sanding attachment (optional)

Begin by using the pliers to cut off the pin back of the enamel pins as close to the surface as possible.

Then use the dremel tool to sand down any remaining pin stub. This part is optional. I found the pin stub to not really get in the way too bad, but if it is poking out to far, you will want to sand it down.
Next, use the glue to adhere the pin to the ring blanks. Let dry overnight and then your rings are ready.

Bedeck your hands with tons of them or give them out as gifts for Galentine’s day. Who knows, these enamel rings will even become the next bff jewelry exchange!
