Here at the Four Seasons hotel they have an elaborate gingerbread village made by the pastry team. It is displayed in the lobby of the hotel for every one to view during the month of December. When my sister used to work there, it kind of became a tradition to go to the unveiling of the village, eat cookies, and see Santa.
Well, that is just what we did for today’s activity. Just a little fun Christmas date with Madeline and myself while the boys stayed home.
This years gingerbread village theme was “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and they had the whole Whoville and Mt. Crumpet. Unfortunately we didn’t get any photos with Santa, Madeline just wanted to “look” at him. Oh well, maybe next year.
And although she doesn’t look to enthralled here, her favorite part was definitely the cookies.
And while we were out, Brandon discovered Parker’s hatred of bibs…
And our elf Bingo had some fun with the TMNT…
So basically good times all around 😉
Now to figure out what to do for tomorrow’s activity…
