Booth Setups Through the Years

filed under

So, when I was preparing for my first trade show years ago, I didn’t know what to expect. How are booths set up? How do I arrange my product? Well, I searched all over the web, but could not find many pictures.

In order to help out any other potential trade show participants, or just show you how my booths and displays have progressed over the years, I now give you Kailo Chic booths from shows past…..
Yesterday I posted a photo of my first ever trade show booth (March 2007). Here it is again so that you can get a feel for the transition by booth have made over the years.

A few months later in August of 2007 I set up in Dallas again.

The next show I did wasn’t a trade show, but a Holiday show called, Stitch, where I sold to the public. This show was great! I had so many sales! I also liked that I had so much space to really display my stuff the way I wanted instead of having to cram it all in a small little booth.

In 2009 I participated in a few more shows, here are my booths from another Dallas Trade show and the Atlanta Gift Show.

The Atlanta show was the last trade show I’ve participated in. I then became pregnant and had Madeline, so traveling for trade shows has been put on hold for a while. I have however participated in several local shows selling my products directly to the public. Here are a few pictures of those booths.

As you can see, there has been quite a change from the first booths I did with the black backdrop. I really think that the lighter backgrounds really make the products stand out more. What do you think?

I like the light backdrops with the bright pink. It really shows off your products! Crazy how far you've come in such a short time.

They all look great. I am about to do my first booth at Dallas in August for children's apparel and this is such a great help! Thank you.

I have a question… What did you use the hang everything from the panels? I am trying to figure out how to hang things myself.

I am so glad that this post helped you L.Mack. On the pegboards I use peg hooks, on the foam core panels, I use clear thumb tacks, and to hang the black, pink, and white curtains in my tradeshow booths, I use shower curtain hooks. Does that help?
